Back to Basics: Building Better Custom Forms in Workfront

Nov 12, 5:00 – 5:45 PM (UTC)

Join the Workfront Central User Group for a Back to Basics session focused on Custom Forms in Workfront. This session is designed for newer system administrators, group administrators, and Workfront power users who want to better understand how custom forms are built, why they matter, and how to create forms that support clean data, better reporting, and more consistent processes.

Custom forms are one of the most powerful tools in Workfront. When built well, they help teams capture the right information at the right time, standardize intake and project details, improve visibility, and make reporting more meaningful. When built without a plan, they can create duplicate fields, confusing forms, incomplete data, and reporting challenges.

In this 30-minute session, we will walk thru the basics of custom forms, including what they are, where they are used, how to think thru form design, and the key questions every admin should ask before creating a new form or field.
